An estimated attendance of over 2,000 visitors is expected. Products on display will encompass textile and apparel, footwear, bags, sports and fitness equipment, among others. As the exclusive specialized apparel, textile, and sports equipment exhibition in the Philippines, PATS & PSS has garnered substantial support from China’s Ministry of Commerce, underscoring the significance of textile, fashion, and sports products in bilateral trade between China and the Philippines.
The expo will serve as a hub for entrepreneurs, trade professionals, and potential business partners to facilitate bilateral cooperation. Moreover, it will provide a unique opportunity to gain insights into China-Philippines import and export trade dynamics. In recent years, the trade relationship between China and the Philippines has been on an upward trajectory, with China ranking as the Philippines’ largest trading partner, its third-largest export market, and the primary source of imports. Furthermore, China is the Philippines’ third-largest source of foreign direct investments. On June 2nd, 2022, RCEP came into effect for the Philippines, marking the comprehensive implementation of the world’s largest free trade area across 15 member countries.
In parallel with the expo, the Asia International E-commerce Expo will focus on electronic products, household daily necessities, and other hot-selling e-commerce items. To enrich the experience for participating enterprises, trade matching sessions will be held on-site by Zhangzhou City and Ningde City of Fujian Province, creating additional business opportunities.
The Philippines Apparel Textile Show and the Philippines Sport show, along with the Asia International E-commerce Expo, will inject fresh vitality into trade cooperation between China and the Philippines, generating new trade momentum and creating more opportunities. We firmly believe that strengthened cooperation between China and the Philippines will enhance the competitiveness of Philippine export products in the global market and benefit local consumers. We look forward to witnessing the further development of friendly cooperation between China and the Philippines at this unique trade event. The reinforced economic and trade cooperation between two countries will attract more attention to the Philippine market within the RCEP region, gradually elevating this exhibition to become the most significant international event in the textile, fashion, and sports industry in the region.
Stay tuned for further updates on this event and the exciting exhibitions it will showcase. We anticipate celebrating new achievements in trade and commerce.
