The Chamber of Commerce of the Philippine Islands (CCPI) officially unveils today its landmark publication, “From CHAMBER HISTORY to NAVIGATING THE FUTURE:
From 8 Epochs to ECOMP-P5 (Economic Compass Pillars 5),” chronicling the rich 139-year history of Philippine business institutions since 1886.

Held at the historic Chamber Building in Intramuros, the launch gathers dignitaries, business leaders, and diplomatic officials. The event features the presence of Ambassador His Excellency, Miguel Utray of Spain, Paul Taylor, Commercial Counselor of the U.S. Embassy, Rosario V. Sapitan ,OIC-Office of the Executive Deputy Director of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines, and Cecile Ang representing San Miguel Corporation President & COO, Ramon S. Ang.

In this momentous dual occasion, Exemplar Awards will also be presented to Mr. Ramon S. Ang and San Miguel Corporation for their enduring contributions to Philippine industry and national progress.

This celebration marks not only the launch of an exceptional historical book researched over a decade, but also a tribute to legacy, leadership, and economic vision for the country’s future. Media and public are invited to witness this milestone and experience the story of Philippine commerce—from its Spanish-era origins to its future-forward aspirations.
