The Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) recognized the Chamber of Cosmetics Industry of the Philippines (CCIP) for its intellectual property (IP) initiatives and IP protection efforts during the 2024 Gawad Yamang Isip Awards held at Dusit Thani Manila.
CCIP president Christine Michelle Reyes and CCIP executive vice president for external affairs Jenny Nunez received the IP Citation on behalf of the chamber.
The recognition highlights CCIP’s valuable contributions to the success of the 2024 National Intellectual Property Month (NIPM 2024). CCIP actively collaborates with IPOPHL to conduct workshops for its members and other cosmetics companies. These workshops play a crucial role in educating businesses on the importance of trademarks and intellectual property for their growth and protection.
IPOPHL’s The Gawad Yamang Isip honors intellectual property rights holders who have made significant contributions to innovation, creativity, and industry development.
