In a heartfelt demonstration of solidarity and compassion, Hino Motors Philippines (HMP) launched a significant donation drive to support the community of Milaor, Camarines Sur, which was severely affected by Typhoon Kristine last November.
The devastating typhoon left many families in the community as well as in many parts of the region grappling with the loss of homes and livelihood. In response, HMP swiftly mobilized resources and coordinated with local authorities to deliver things that are urgently needed by community members—essential supplies, including food packs, clean water, clothing, and hygiene kits. The donation drive, held on November 21, 2024, saw HMP and Hino Naga employees and volunteers working tirelessly together to ensure that aid reached those who were in need promptly.
Hino Motors Philippines’ President, Mr. Shingo Sakai, expressed his deep sympathy for the affected families and emphasized the company’s commitment to community support. “At HMP, we believe in the power of unity and compassion, which stems from our mission in the country of providing Hino Total Support, extending it beyond business-related activities. Our hearts go out to the people of Milaor and the rest of Camarines Sur, and we are dedicated to providing the necessary assistance to help them rebuild their lives. This donation drive is a testament to our unwavering support for the communities we serve.”
As the community of Milaor begins the journey towards recovery, Hino Motors Philippines remains committed to standing by their side, offering continued support and hope for a brighter future.
